Opleidingscentrum voor Hout en Bouw (OHB) has a research & innovation centre located in Ghent to develop emission free urban waterborne logistics and green energy solutions. We operate a living lab in the city of Ghent. The Research and Innovation Center is project leader and partner in various projects where research into Smart Logistics and Automation requires an operational leg and where we provide warehouses, terminals, trucks & trailers, inland shipping vessels and zero-emission urban vessels, personnel, etc.The researchers are involved in several national and European research projects on the development of innovative and sustainable logistic solutions and transport concepts, mainly in an urban area.
