This edition brings updates on recent activities, progress achieved, and upcoming steps in our joint effort to develop innovative solutions for ship electrification. Through the collaboration of a strong consortium of leading partners across Europe, HARPOONERS is contributing to the decarbonisation of the maritime sector under the Horizon Europe programme.

This inaugural issue presents the project’s latest progress on high-voltage battery systems for maritime transport, recent events such as World Maritime Week in Bilbao and Nor-Shipping in Oslo, and new collaborations including the EU project eWAVE.
